KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested two people including a teenager after a fight broke out at a PPR in Sentul.
“At around 7pm on Sunday (Jan 24), the victim’s son called his mother that the latter was being disturbed by two men at a PPR block in Kuala Lumpur.
The victim then went to the block to solve the issue.
“Later, he was approached by around 30 people at the same PPR and a scuffle ensued.
“A suspect punched the man in the face. He was also beaten with a fork lock and had a knife pointed at him,” said Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai in a statement Monday (Jan 25).
Police investigations show that the man’s son was being held by six suspects during the fight.
The cause of the argument was due to the victim scolding a teenager who had been disturbing his son prior to the incident.
The man suffered injuries to the ribs, face and head. He also had knife injuries to his back.
“His son was not hurt.
“Today, we arrested two people, aged 14 and 27. The teenager has been released on bail while the adult has been remanded until Jan 28,” ACP Beh said.
